Fox Theatre - Detroit

Review of the Fox Theatre – Downtown Detroit The Fox Theatre is always a stunning place to spend an evening. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful—historic, elegant, and full of character. The crowd was wonderfully diverse, with all ages represented and everything from jeans to full formalwear, which gave the night a very open, inclusive, and hip energy. The performance overall was great, and most of the sound throughout the show was solid. However, the acoustics were unexpectedly off during a few songs, which was surprising for a venue of this quality. Aside from those moments, the sound was good and the experience was well worth it. A lovely landmark and a great place to enjoy live entertainment in the heart of Detroit. Would definitely return.

Wife and I saw the red clay Strays there last week. I've seen about 200 + concerts in my life. In venues across a dozen states and I have to say this is the best concert venue I've ever been to. Absolutely amazing, 5 stars, we highly recommend it.

Glad my father dragged me here to see this relic. The ornate architecture and sculptures alone are worth going for. I am glad the city put so much time and effort into preserving this and is still doing work.

Great venue but our seats were terrible. I know they said there would be an obstruction but I never imagined it would be lit up with super bright led strips. It took away from the entire experience. I don't know why they could have curtains around the equipment. Definitely won't be sitting in this area for future shows.

Have seen multiple shows here and always love the venue... easy to get to, beautiful renovations, simply iconic theater.
