The Beacon Theatre is a City’s classic theatre! The box office outside instantly transports you back in time, evoking the golden age of New York entertainment. As you step inside, the grand chandelier in the entrance hall welcomes you with elegance and warmth. The theatre’s golden details, from covering the stage statues to the balcony walls, create a stunning atmosphere that feels both historic and majestic. It feels like a place from another century, so beckoning to the visitors! The acoustics are just great! Every word resonate perfectly and distinctly. A truly unforgettable venue that captures the soul of NYC!
My husband and I saw The Goo Goo Dolls here on the 9th and the show great! Within 15 minutes our tickets were scanned, we bag checked and got in and bought shirts from the merch booth which was amazing! We were disappointed that on our level, there were no bathrooms so we had to go up a floor and use those...and the women's bathroom had like 5 stalls! There was a line to get in which often happens at venues but 5 stalls is crazy when you have that many people in one place at once. My husband then went to get a Pepsi and was told it had to go into a cup and was filled to the very top and was almost spilled when someone nearly walked into him. Spending $8 on a Pepsi is pretty wild! We were in a good spot for the concert and the sound was great which made those little things not a big deal. Our real disappointment was staff came over to tell the row ahead of us they couldn't set their cups on the ledge, but when they stood up and starting jumping around and made it difficult for everyone else to see...staff was nowhere to be found. Everyone around made comments that these young adults were making it impossible to see, even with others standing, so it was disappointing to see staff did nothing but a cup on a ledge was serious enough they had to get spoken to. Overall, it was a nice venue and we'd return but would definitely make plans for dinner and a bathroom elsewhere after!
Absolutely love the Beacon Theatre! This historic venue is not only gorgeous, but the atmosphere is magical the moment you walk through the doors. The architecture and décor are stunning—there’s this old-world charm with modern comfort that makes every show feel like an event. The acoustics are phenomenal; no matter where you’re seated, the sound is crisp and clear. The staff is friendly, organized, and helpful, keeping everything running smoothly even on packed nights. Seating is comfortable, sightlines are excellent, and the energy of the crowd always feels electric. Every time I see a show at the Beacon Theatre, it feels special—whether it’s a concert, comedy show, or live event. It’s truly one of New York’s most iconic and unforgettable venues. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a memorable night out!
It's a beautiful theatre and organized, but if you end up in the balcony seats, the sound is awful. I recently went to see Theo Von for the first time, and I spent 90% of the show trying to understand what was being said. Great show, but I missed a lot of it. Please fix this beacon theatre.
This is a gorgeous 😍😍😍😍 theater. The inside is spectacular. Went here to see Paul Simon. A sold out show there wasn't an empty seat in the house. The show was fabulous. This place has bars where you can. Order a drink or a snack. Plus bathrooms. Would love to see another concert here. This place ranks a ten on a scale of one to ten. A++ experience. 💜 ❤️ 💜
