This is such an underrated Broadway theater! It is HUGE, beautiful, and almost feels like a castle. The employees are lovely and passionate, and definitely help to make a fun experience. I sat in the balcony and far to the right, but the view was still lovely. Truly a great theater to attend, and if you are seeing “Six” (the show currently playing), you are in for a wonderful time!
Six was spectacular!!! I first of all LOVE Broadway shows. I feel like going back in time and living the best time of NYC This show in particular is very well written, it is funny, but also deep and make you think. The women perspective, specially when women were not considered and they were sold and exchanged like objects. Music and the singers at TOP !!! The time just fly and you wish you had more!
My first musical and certainly won’t be last! Thank you so much to the cast and the crew for putting on a wonderful performance! The lights, music and dancing were incredible and exceeded my standards completely! After the show I bought a poster and got it signed by 4 of the queens! Thank you so much :)
We had such a great time at the Lena Horne Theater seeing SIX the Musical! The show itself was absolutely fantastic—the songs are so catchy you’ll be humming them long after the curtain falls, and the performers were beyond amazing, bringing so much energy and talent to the stage. The theater itself is a gem. It’s on the smaller side, which makes for a more intimate experience, and honestly, there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The sound and lighting were excellent, and the atmosphere really added to the excitement of the performance. The staff was also friendly and organized, making the whole experience smooth from start to finish. Between the incredible show and the perfect venue, this was truly a memorable night on Broadway. If you’re thinking about seeing SIX, do it—you won’t regret it!
This theatre is small but mighty. The decor brings you back to the olden days of Broadway. The staff is great! The ushers are super helpful. The merch clerks are pleasant and not pushy. The house staff is fantastic, with a big shoutoit to Elizabeth who helped re-seat me. I had a seat in the mezz but those seats are not made for people over 6 feet tall. I'm 6'7" and it wasn't gonna happen. She was able to get me a real chair and I could enjoy the show. If you are tall, or husky, go for orchestra-level seats. Overall a wonderful experience. I went to see SIX and it fits the venue perfectly. The show is spectacular, too! I highly recommend both the Lena Horne Theatre and the musical SIX.
