Finish dinner 30+ minutes before showtime. Most restaurants offer pre-theater menus.
Highly recommended, especially for evening performances. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
Most listed restaurants are within 5-10 minutes walk. Factor in extra time during busy hours.

First time to go see a concert at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Its was definitely a learning experience. It is a bit of an awkward theater. We bought tickets for seats in the upper level looking right at the stage. You are seated so far back from the lower ADA section, you literally can't see the stage, with the way its set up. My husband went to ask about moving to another section, upgrade or tickets. You basically have to buy new tickets. We would not have been upset had. We bought the tickets, expecting an obscured view, but there's tickets were more expensive than tickets on the side, where you could actually see the stage! We did move to the side, and although you can't see the whole stage, at least we could see it, and who we came to see. That being said, we had a great time. Most of the staff were very friendly, apologetic, and helpful. I would consider going here again, but now we know how things are set up, we'll choose where we sit / stand more carefully.
We had an excellent experience seeing Santana at House of Blues. I called with an accessibility question and Christina, the head of their security, called me back and then met us at the show. Christina personally made sure we were taken care of and treated my whole family like VIPs for the evening. The show was excellent and the venue was awesome, but Christina and staff really made the experience one we’ll always cherish. The drinks were also delicious and I think the refillable popcorn might be the best deal in Vegas. Thank you!!
Terrific venue - very intimate! We upgraded from general admission to a couch - it was up in the balcony, but we had no issues with getting there, having room, seeing the concert - it was a great experience! Great service from the bar, too!
Great concert experience! (Aside from the people ‘manning the lines’, who were NOT helpful, which seemed to be the consensus of everyone we spoke with). ‘Pass the Line’ tickets were totally worth it! The man at the box office was very helpful (as I couldn’t get WiFi to access my tx for some reason), and our bartender (Caesar) was great, we never had to wait for drinks! I love the atmosphere of the venue, sound was awesome and good projections during the concert. The band (Tesla), still rocking! We got GA tickets cuz I don’t like to sit during concerts and since we did ‘Pass the Line’, we were right up front. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
Holy amazing venues, Batman! I've never been to a HOB before. Good layout, good accoustics with the option of GA or seated tickets, depending on the show. It was a cool interior that just felt right, with a friendly staff to boot. Yes, the seating left and right of the stage can obscure the action somewhat, but there is a video screen on the wall that helps to see any obscured players. Strangely, that didn't really bother me. There were more upsides than downsides to being where I was. I came here to see Mammoth and Miles Kennedy. Star power in an intimate venue- who can ask for more. If you bring in the right groups, I'll keep driving back here.
