Minskoff Theatre

Visited NYC and finally was able to see The Lion King. The seating was smooth. The performance 🎭 from the entire cast was spectacular!!!! Definitely a must see if you get the opportunity. The make up, the 🎶 singing, the costumes were really good. I thoroughly enjoyed the show. Unika B. & Co.

Photography and video recording are not allowed inside the theatre, and honestly, I appreciate this rule. It allows you to fully immerse yourself in the magic of the show without distractions, and to experience every beautiful moment live. The staff were friendly, helpful, and well-organized, making sure everything ran smoothly. The theatre itself is spacious, clean, and offers excellent views of the stage from almost every seat. If you’re visiting New York City, The Lion King at Minskoff Theatre is an absolute must-see. It’s more than just a show — it’s a visual, musical, and emotional masterpiece.

Beautiful well kept and organized theater! Perfect venue to see the world’s #1 broadway show: The Lion King! Loved every second! Great sound, layout and comfy chairs! The voices, dances and costumes were amazing!! A few funny modifications from the original but it gave the show a nice touch! Super friendly staff! Super highly recommended! Try the mango slushy!! 😍

The location, parking and security were amazing. We saw the Lion King on Friday night. The theater was packed but they got us in and took great care of us while there. It was very organized and showed a well thought process of managing that many people in the heart of New York. There are always security concerns, especially in our day and age. However, there was a visible presence in and around the venue allowing everyone to feel safe. The show, music and actors were the best.

The Lion King on Broadway is an unforgettable classic and truly one of the best shows you can see in New York. The costumes, music, and staging are breathtaking from start to finish. In my experience, I was seated near the audio mixer and the sound was absolutely incredible—clear, powerful, and perfectly balanced. It’s a show that combines artistry, emotion, and spectacle in a way that keeps audiences amazed year after year. A must-see Broadway experience.
