I absolutely loved seeing Hell's Kitchen here! It was an incredible show from start to finish; the actors and of course singing was phenomenal! I loved how they included Alicia Key's original music into the story. The only downside to the venue was that the seats were rather close together. It did feel tight, not a lot of spacing in between.
I saw Hell’s Kitchen at the Shubert Theatre, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The theater itself is classic Broadway. Beautiful architecture, comfortable seating, and great acoustics. The bar service was amazing, with quick and friendly staff and the restrooms were also well-kept and easy to access. Hell’s Kitchen was incredible! The story is heartfelt, inspiring, and relatable. The music was outstanding powerful, soulful, and full of energy. Each performance felt authentic and moving, and you could feel the audience connecting with the story.
My wife and I went to see the 'Hell's Kitchen' musical show at the Shubert Theatre during our visit to NYC as part of her 60th birthday celebrations in September 2025 It's a sizeable Broadway theatre with a capacity of 1,400 just off Time Square, However it doesn't have a front lobby upon entry. You enter straight into the orchestra stalls of the theatre from the street with a bar and toilets in the basement. Our heavily discounted tickets that we bought from the TKTS ticket booths at The Lincoln Center were for two great center stage seats,12 rows from the stage in the orchestra stalls of the small cosy theatre, which provided us with an excellent close up view of the stage. We really enjoyed the musical with music written by Alicia Keys. All the singers, dancers & musicians were fantastic, the staging & sets were great and the audience gave a thunderous standing ovation after the entire cast gave a fantastic finale performance to Alicia Keys smash hit New York Empire State of Mind. There wasn't an orchestra pit in front of the stage with the live music for the show provided by a band playing on stage within the innovative sets.
Went to see Hell's Kitchen last night and had a wonderful time. It's a musical based on the music of Alicia Keys and I was pleasantly surprised to have recognised many more songs than I thought I would. The story is quite a simple one but I think everyone was there for the music and they weren't left disappointed. The theatre itself was very nice and the staff very friendly and professional. So if you're wondering which show to go to give Hells Kitchen a try, you'll be glad you did.
First time visiting this theater and I totally enjoyed the live on stage experience. The audio and visual acoustics were heard clearly from my mezzanine seat. The seats are a tad tight but it was a wonderful and unique treat to visit from Maryland. Definitely would come back in the future as I'd like to utilize the bar and restroom areas that were packed on the day I came to see Hell's Kitchen on Broadway.
